			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Basically, a Physical Therapist is someone who helps people suffering from a disease or injury to improve their mobility, strength, relieve pain or prevent permanent damage. If you are interested in becoming a Physical Therapist (PT), chances are you would want to be a successful one as well. As with every goal you have in life, this too is attainable provided you put in the extra effort. To help you along the way, I have come up with the following tips that might help you.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>1. Education and training</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">PT education starts with basic sciences such as biology, chemistry, and physics and later courses such as biomechanics, neuro-anatomy, human growth &amp; development, manifestations of disease, examination techniques and therapeutic procedures. So,<span id="more-27"></span> basically you will to have at least a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Science to jump start your career. Some programs require that you have some form of experience so you should take the opportunity and volunteer at a local hospital or clinic near you.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>2. Credentials</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">You will definitely need to be a certified PT. Certification will make your patients feel more comfortable to work with you as they know that you have been acknowledge as someone who can practice medicine.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>3. Passion</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">To become successful in anything, you will need to have the passion to do the job. The passion will be a driving factor in your career when sometimes you feel that things are not going your way. Your passion will be reflected in the way you conduct yourself and your job and this will show when you deal with patients, making them feel more comfortable with your presence.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>4. Experience</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Most of the experience for PTs are not available in books but in the real world. Therefore you will need to volunteer at hospitals or clinics to gain the necessary experience. Make sure you pay attention at work, take notes if necessary and study them. Books can only teach you in theory, but practical training is what separates you from the other PTs.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">You will also need to work on your interpersonal skills as you job entrails dealing with people all the time. You need to know how to help them without being impatient or losing your temper. Try these tips and you will be a successful PT!</p>
